Topic: PS4 Slim turns off

Hi everyone,

I tried looking everywhere but could find help. Sorry for the long post.

Whenever I start any game the ps4 switches off and to switch it on I need to unplug it from the power supply, happens since yesterday, I cleaned the fan and restarted the whole ps4 and its the same.

Earlier today I could still watch netflix but now it switches off at random even during netflix or even when in the menu.

I reseted the ps4 to factory settings and now theres an error when I try to install the game.

so I was experiencing something similar for the past four days. My PS4 slim randomly turned off one night and it wouldnt turn back on. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and tried to start it but it only beeped then shut off. I did safe start several times and tried to rebuild database, but it only turned off when I tried to rebuild. Yesterday, after another failed attempt to rebuild, I unplugged, plugged back in, and left it alone until about 1 pm today. I clicked the start button and it started to rebuild the database, and now it works. I just got off. I even turned it off and back on to make sure. So I would try unplugging it, plugging it back in, hold the pwer button until you hear two beeps, follow screen prompts until you get to the selection screen. Do rebuild database. If it turns off and doesnt want to power back on, unplug and plug back in and leave alone for 24 hours. Thats basically what I tried. I hope it helps!
