A family member wants to play "Genshin Impact" on their computer but lacks the necessary RAM to do so. Being broke, we can't buy any more. The alternative is for them to play it on my PS4. I have several concerns about this, centered around console and game updates.

The current update for the PS4 is v8.03. The current version of "Cyberpunk 2077," my favored game, is v1.11.

I'm concerned that, if I connect my PS4 to the internet and it detects the latest system software update, that it will have limited functionality until that update is installed. I'm also concerned that, if I do update to the latest, that I will also have to update "Cyberpunk 2077," fearing that v1.11 won't be able to run on the latest console software. I don't want to update "Cyberpunk 2077" because I like this version of the game and don't want to downgrade to the latest version.

I have the console set to where automatic updating is disabled. Now, here are my questions:

1. Will my console be bricked upon detecting the latest software update, but not having it installed?
2. Can v1.11 of "Cyberpunk 2077" run on the latest system update?

If the first answer is yes or the second answer no, then I can't allow mt family member to play "Genshin Impact" on my PS4.

@RogerRoger And if I do that, then "Cyberpunk 2077" will be forced to update, as well. OK, thank you for your answer.
