Hi I'm hoping someone can help please as Sony haven't been any use so far. We have a PS4 and my son managed to turn off the bluetooth on the console which meant only one of the controllers worked. At that point we had one working controller via bluetooth and one not working. He then tried to re-pair the original controller to get both working again and managed to turn off the bluetooth on the second controller (!) this meant to reconnect we had to go back to the USB cable and restart the machine. The machine boots up but will not recognise either of the handsets (or a 3rd I've subsequently bought and tried) via the original usb cable in either of the ports OR via a new USB cable. We've tried re-setting the machine and re-setting all the handsets using the little hole at the back of the handset. Nothing works. We then tried to restart the console in safe mode and then at that point had to send it into PS SONY on a fault / repair as nothing was working. They have sent it back today saying it's fine it just needed a software update but we are having the same problem. On booting up the console it asks you to connect the USB to the handset and press the PS button. It doesn't matter which USB port we try, which cable we use, or whcih handset they ALL flash blue as if trying to connect and then settle back to the flashing (slowly) yellow meaning that the handset is charging but nothing connects to the console to bring it to life. Can anyone out there please, please help with what we need to do? I've even tried a friend's USB cable and handset this afternoon but that hasn't worked either. FYI, I can get the handsets to bluetooth connect to my phone so it must mean the issue is with the console. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
