Topic: Can anybody help with a GT7 issue

So I purchased GT7 on PS4 physical disc when it was first released and then paid for the PS5 upgrade when I got my console.
Since then I got bored, uninstalled and sold tbe PS4 disc.
Recently saw the new Power Pack DLC and wanted to play and purchased a digital PS4 version of GT7 in the sale.
However, my GT5 download still asks for a disc. It gets even stranger because then borrowed a friend's PS4 disc and I still get tbe message asking for a disc !!

Tried all the usual restore license and rebuild database stuff and PS support are clueless - the case has been open for seven days now with no resolution.

Forgot to add this. I downloaded the PS4 digital version i purchased in the sale and when I load it up I get a screen asking if I want to run in 4k. Was this ever there on the PS4 version or is the console getting confused and actually running the PS5 version?
