Hello,

On my PS5 console, I have my account and 2 more account for my kids under parental control. One account is restricted to 7 years (PS5 games) and 6 years and above (PS4 games). For both settings, pegi 3 and 7 symbols are playable. Now, for example, Astro`s Playroom is rated pegi 7 and my kid can play it. But he can`t play Ratchet & Clank even though it is also rated pegi 7. Why? What I miss here? I would like at least to understand how the parental system works if not really to have complete control over it.

If I remembered, Ratchet & Clank games are rated USK 12 in German, IGRS 13+ in Singapore and 12+ in Asia, so even rated PEGI 7 in Europe, but the game itself is rated 12+ years old on other region.

Maybe you can set the parental control to level 5 to allow rated 12+ games being played.
Parental control level 5 is allowing rated Teen, CERO B and PEGI 12 games to be played.

Also, I noticed every games installed on PS4 and PS5 have information about parental level.
Ratchet & Clank PS4 was parental level 3, but the cute game for kids like Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town was parental level 9.
That was really shocking me because parental level 9 is for adult games.
And after some short investigation, I knew the reason.
That because the game have Simulated Gambling in Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town that basically you used your virtual currency to set a bet for Horce Race in the game and PEGI cencorship considered Simulated Gambling as something really dangerous for kids, that was really ridiculous.
And the other hand, Ratchet & Clank PS4 with rating PEGI 7 / USK 12 with animated blood and moderate violence from using weapons was parental level 3.
Violence and animated blood was parental level 3, but simulated gambling with virtual currency is parental level 9 ??

Anyway, if you set your parental control level 3 (Everyone, PEGI 7, CERO A), it might be blocking the PEGI 7 games that rated E10+ in USA or 12+ by other regions.
Also, Ratchet & Clank games are not really a same PEGI 7 with other PEGI 7 kids games like Mario or Kirby games due to moderate violence level and animated blood (green slimy liquid) on certain Ratchet & Clank series.
Ratchet & Clank games on PS2 was rated Teen for the same contents.
