The Last of Us: Part II will be in the spotlight in tomorrow's State of Play presentation, and we can't wait to see it in action once again. The PlayStation 4 exclusive sequel is one of the most hotly anticipated games on the horizon, so it's understandable that people are excited. Not helping is Naughty Dog itself, which has gradually been releasing teasers for its next game's reappearance.
Of course, we've seen this first one before. Ellie's switchblade was effectively used to confirm the game's presence during the upcoming State of Play:
There are two more, however. The second teaser the developer posted features the hammer wielded by the character in that infamous trailer:
Next up, we see the bracelet worn by Dina in the E3 2018 gameplay trailer:
Finally, Naughty Dog has shared another teaser, and this one shows Joel's broken wristwatch:
These are getting us all warmed up for State of Play tomorrow. Are you hyped to see The Last of Us: Part II once again? Do you like these teasers? Keep calm in the comments below.

TLOU2 will be the final nail in the coffin for the xbox DONE lol hahahahahahahahaha
I'm no fan of xbox or MS but I think us PlayStation fans should be better then belittling other platforms. We've got a lot to look forward too, we don't need to drag down others.
@AdamNovice Awesome comment. I'm glad to see other people feel the same way. Like you I have no intention to buy an Xbox but people should be free to do as they please without having narrow minded people making fun of something they neither know nor understand.
@AdamNovice agreed, leave the fanboy nonsense comments for YouTube. They're all more or less the same plastic box with wires inside. Let's be thankful this past time gives us so much entertainment, regardless of platform.
@PhantomXIII You're talking about Man Utd aren't you?
Aaaaanyway..
HYPE!
I am liking the marketing for this so far.
Hello, do not troll people with fanboy rubbish please. Let's stay on topic!
@AdamNovice you are so right!
I don't play any games since God of War. I was thinking of selling my Pro now and then getting a PS5... But I NEED to play this one on launch. On a side note, how it happened I don't enjoy gaming anymore? I only foresee playing Tlou2 , hzd2 , gow2 and whatever Uncharted game comes along.
I thought about this a lot.If last of us 2 gets released before cyberpunk 2077,it would surprise me. Cyberpunk has had its release date nailed down to april 2020 for quite a while now. If this actually releases in February as rumoured,it would be so bizarre why they were hiding the release date all this time.
@pimpjuice
People still care about Fanboy wars ? atleast The Last Of Us 2 will give me a reason to turn on my PlayStation 4 again hahaha. /s
@PhantomXIII Me, a Manchester Utd fan? You cut me real deep just now.
Born and bred Liverpool FC.
@pimpjuice L
The marketing makes this feel like it's going to be torture porn or exploitation material. Not really a fan.
Regardless, 2020 is looking VERY busy for PS4 owners of all stripes.
Hopefully we get a release date tomorrow. That's what I'm most excited for!
@Deadlyblack They should be ready for a huge backlash from everyone, if they have the nerve not to reveal a solid release date tomorrow. That's the whole point of this state of play,or else its pointless. They've dragged their feet long enough on the date.
@AdamNovice Playful banter. Nothing wrong with that. When Chelsea lost yesterday, I was all over my friends, telling them how crap their team is. What's the difference?
Obviously a released date for the most trending game right now I hope not later than Feb. but still wonder what kind of trailer it will be a gameplay? or a short teaser?
@zazzy
No no no. This is all very serious stuff. Someone putting silly words with haha at the end is ugly stuff. Let the piece of plastic be put back to where it belongs and signal our virtues to the world.
(Funny they dont realise being outraged because someone made fun of a....piece of plastic precisely)
That reminds me of Kojima being looked down on by the mob because the words they read from his tweets don't match their high standards.
Haha
Updated with another teaser!
These anti Xbox and anti PS4 comments are usually just a bit of fun, friendly rivalry, it's banter and pretty funny, when it doesn't get personal and malicious. No need to take it so seriously.
Release date: NOW.
And the fans go wild and Microsoft quits and Nintendo applaudes!
The clock has the release date.
The hour pointer stopped in 2 hours
The minute pointer stopped in 15 or a little bit less
The seconds pointer stopped a little down of 40 seconds, but not complete the 60 seconds so it's 2:14:40
The release date 14 February.
@Ralizah ''The marketing makes this feel like it's going to be torture porn or exploitation material.''
Are you saying that's a bad thing?
@pimpjuice Only an idiot would hope that a competitor that keeps their favourite brand constantly improving their service and products would go away....
@tiagobac I wondered that too. The 14th is a Friday next year too so I'd say you're exactly right. Deliriously excited!
