The best promotional item we’ve ever got at a gaming event was a The Last of Us-branded brick-shaped stress reliever, so that puts into perspective just how awesome Cyberpunk 2077’s giveaway at E3 2019 is. The incredible Samurai jacket – which is fully reversible – is selling on eBay for as much as $450, which is incredible.
But developer CD Projekt RED has implored fans not to pay the premium, as it intends to sell a version of the jacket on its own website – and while it hasn’t set a price yet, it won’t be charging anywhere near $400 for the item. Maybe it’s $450 because it’s that exact jacket worn by Hideo Kojima. It may even still have his scent if he hasn’t laundered it yet. If so it should be selling for 10 times that price.

I'd buy it but it's pre-owned by some strange Japanese fella. Anyway, I much prefer my Castrol GTX jacket which I can even wear at funerals.

It just shows a missed opportunity for CDPR's marketing team. If they tease people with crazy exciting trailers, why not filling this gap until game release with merch?

the quality looks cheap which isn't surprising since they gave it away for free. who would pay for this? of course, these are the same people who paid $500 for a derpy looking statue.

@Dubya75 if you want pay $500 for a jacket, go ahead. But it looks like terrible quality. CDPR doesn't give better quality merchandise to people at e3. Look at the statue they gave at e3 last year. It has a lazy eye. The collector's edition statue looks 1000x better.
