Hitman 2 Heads to Mumbai, Vermont, and More

All of Hitman 2’s locations have been revealed in a new cinematic trailer. In addition to the previously announced Miami and Colombia, gaming’s second-greatest skinhead will be flying first-class to Mumbai and New Zealand. He’ll also be heading to a traditional American suburb in Vermont named Whittleton Creek, and to a mysterious North Atlantic island named the Isle of Sgàil. Elsewhere, the Sniper Assassin game mode will feature Himmelstein in Austria.

The destinations certainly look eclectic, but we’ll need more context to get a feel for their vibe. We’ve always felt that IO Interactive designs its best levels when there’s a focal point, like the fashion show in Paris, so we’re hoping for more of that. Unfortunately the trailer, for as hype-inducing as it is, doesn’t really tell us a whole lot about what to expect from this brand new batch of levels.
