Fallout 4 7

Earlier today at Microsoft's E3 press conference, Bethesda developer lead Todd Howard announced that PC-made mods for Fallout 4 would be coming to Xbox One. However, he didn't mention any kind of strict exclusivity, which has unsurprisingly led to much speculation over whether the feature will appear on the PlayStation 4.

Bethesda's open world titles have a long history with the modding community, so it's exciting to hear that creations from passionate players will finally come to consoles. Speaking with Geoff Keighley over on the presenter's live E3 YouTube stream, Howard confirmed that mods will be coming to Microsoft's console in early 2016, but he also took the time to mention that the studio also hopes to bring mods to PS4 at some point after that.

It sounds as though we Sony enthusiasts are in for a bit of a wait, then, but are you relieved to hear the news? Modify yourself in the comments section below.
