Turns out our first impressions were damn wrong, as Activision has just announced that its "premium" Call Of Duty experience has scooped up a whopping one million subscribers in just six days.

Unsurprisingly, Bobby Kotick was stoked: "The audience response to Call of Duty: EliteĀ‘s premium service has been beyond our expectations, and we want to thank Call of Duty players around the world for their unprecedented enthusiasm."

Amazing, amazing, amazing stuff. We bet other publishers are green with envy right now.
