But with every cloud there's a silver lining, as Ubisoft has announced that the upcoming PlayStation 3 release of the title will retail for a cut-price £19.99. That's half the price of the XBOX 360 original.

It gets even better when you take a scout around popular retailers too. Both Amazon and Play have knocked an additional fiver off the title, making it an impulse-inducing £14.99. You even get a free t-shirt if you decide to go with Play, though we suspect it will come in large sizes only. There seems to be some kind of internal mandate to make video game t-shirts the size of tents.

Neither Q nor Ubisoft has confirmed PlayStation Move and 3D support for Child Of Eden PS3, but we've been assured both will be included in the final product. The game's out on September 23rd.
