Sony Hushed On The Prospect Of A Modern Warfare 2 Bundle

With Microsoft putting their collective energy into marking the release of Modern Warfare 2 with a complete XBOX 360 bundle, Sony are remaining tight-lipped on whether they intend to do something similar for the Playstation 3

Given The Levels Of Buzz We Can Expect Around MW2 Later In The Year, Having A Bundle On The Shelves Would Be Worthwhile.

With Sony expected to keep the current 120GB PS3 Slim bundle-less for the forseeable future, rumours are mounting of a holiday 250GB console with games bundled.

Speaking with MCV a Sony rep claimed that we've not made any announcements about bundle packs, but will let you know should that change.

Of course, the cynic in us suggests that Microsoft have to put their collective energy into Modern Warfare 2, after all, Forza and Halo aside, their line-up is looking pretty barren right now. However, a Modern Warfare 2 bundle could not hurt Sony at all.
