Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for July 2023?

Been wanting to try Sniper elite 5. Last one i played was 3. May give twisted metal a go too, my only experience was the ps3 one and that wasnt the best

@Danloaded The 4th is also in Extra if I'm not mistaken. With the next gen upgrade, it's even better than 5 imo.

Super, super excited for Twisted Metal 1 and 2. Between these and the show, this is unexpectedly turning into the summer of TM.

Been very close to buying the Ascent a few times in the past. So this is the highlight of the selection for me.

Honestly it's easily the worst month so far, not one game I want to play from the new additions. But I suppose it's not a bad thing as now I can concentrate on my backlog and FF16.

Anti-Matter dropped by and dumped 5% for My Little Pony.

Spongebob and Ascent for me. Already have It Takes Two and Undertale. I say it's a pretty good month, depending on what you already have. I've got tons to play from previous months though, they could have nothing for 3 months and I'd be busy.

I'm now going to play Sniper Elite 3-5 without ever buying a single one. The sub treats me pretty well.

Sniper Elite 5 was on my to buy list, so I am well happy.

I guess. I might try Samurai Warriors 5, it's when a while since I played a Musou.

I was really disappointed in Sniper Elite 5. It was my favourite game series since the first one but there's hardly any sniping. You can complete the game with just a silent pistol, especially if you put a scope on it. The enemy also know exactly where you are. You kill a guy and if an enemy sees the dead body, they almost run to your exact location.

Can World War Z be upgraded to the PS5 Aftermath version for free? Is that even working yet? It's actually a great game, but I already played it when it was on PS Now. Would love to try the PS5 Aftermath version...

Not that it's a totally awful group of games, but the vast majority of the ones that are good should have easily already been played by now. It's easily the worst month by far.

Is it the end of the world? Should people cancel their subscriptions? Of course not. It's one bad month, but there's no way I could vote that I'm happy with the group of games. I'm fine with that as I have more than enough games to play already, but there's no sugarcoating that it's easily the worst month ever.

Mostly an uninteresting group of games to me. Stuff like Sniper Elite do not appeal to me at all. It Takes Two and Melty Blood are the only things I might check out.

After a year with PS Plus Deluxe (as in my country we don’t have Premium) I’ll definitely be downgrading again to the Essential tier, Premium/Deluxe has almost been a ripoff with bare minimum additions to the classic catalogue, and while Extra has great value I found that most of the games I want to try out I already have them purchased whether on PS5 or Xbox and there’s not many new games (such as Stray or T’Chia) to keep paying for that tier.

Haven't played It Takes Two. Heard great things, though! One of the first Plus games I can say that has great reviews and I haven't played. Now I just need someone to play with.... :X

People expect a bunch of amazing (to them) games every month?

Can't ever happen, whatever Sony put on, because games people REALLY want, they've probably already bought day one or in a sale.

And if those appear, then that's wrong too because people moan that they already own everything good, so it's a 'crap' month.

Worth it for Samurai Warriors 5 alone, personally. I've been putting off playing that for years because there was always something else that just edged it out but now it's free (or "free", if you prefer) so it's time to finally play it.

Crap selection this time and that’s fine. We’ve had plenty to keep us going in the last months/year.

Worst month since the launch for Extra.

I love the one comment saying that its pretty rubbish because the good games on the list people would of already bought them.

I mean what exactly do people want, isn't it an amazing month when huge top games onto the service, which any hardcore gamer would of bought anyway. Or you just get xbox with gold games.

All in all a good month.
There are a few games I've always wanted to play but not enough I wanted to buy and a few ill take a look at.

But at the moment I just bought dive the diver for pc and got to say playstation need this game. Its absolutely phenomenal. Game of the year, its that good. Fingers crossed its just a switch and pc year exclusive.

Best month in a long time tbh.. I never played WWZ tho but I own the other 2 and LOVED them

It really sucks that in my region (Japan) there are only 9 games being added to plus. I get that some games aren’t released here, but it would be nice to maybe have some Japan-only releases added to make up for it

My kids are super happy with all these free games and so is my wallet, I only need 2 games, GTS&GT7

The Ascent is a nice addition for me. Also guessing Im playing My little pony with my daughter 😅 hopefully its an easy platinum 😂

All these games coming and going, I’m glad I’ve decided to do away with subscription services.

Playing online for free on PS3 is quite refreshing.

I was waiting for It takes two for so long. Finally! Apparently best coop game, Goty. Cannot wait to try it out

Sniper Elite 5 is a fun game. Kept me entertained for about 10 hours. Sometimes knowing how you’ve been spotted is a little sketchy though, and forcing you to play areas where sniping isn’t a viable option is not exactly fun. Makes completing missions without being spotted a bit irritating.

I don't have and I won't get Extra or Plus.
I'm stuffed with the games I buy on disc + I also have Series X and the Switch.
PS Plus Essential is more than I need.

Never been more happy to be honest.

@JonnyAces I would say it's worth holding out on buying (not that you'll need to now!)... it's quite cool and atmospheric, but takes ages to get around from mission to mission, and gameplay gets a bit repetitive and dull before the end!

Had to vote that it was a bad selection due to the lack of knack 2.

Decent enough selection, Undertale is the one I am most interested in, The Ascent is excellent, don't sleep on this one folks.

Will be interesting to see if Twisted Metal still holds up!

For me every month it is the same, or I already bought them on release, or they do not interest me lol

Yes very pleased ,really looking forward to sniper elite 5,snow runner and wwz ,was going to buy sniper elite5 very shortly anyway but great news it's on extra tomorrow

Played most of these on gamepass but they are good games def a win for ps only users
