We're getting closer and closer to gaming's annual announcement season. Every summer sees the industry turn out for a few weeks of pre-recorded presentations and live broadcasts, all showcasing what's coming up in the near future. With E3 now sadly a thing of the past, the biggest of these events is now Summer Game Fest, created and hosted by Geoff Keighley. Whatever games you enjoy, it sounds like this will be worth watching — a lot of game developers and publishers are taking part.

In a new press release, it's stated that more than 55 partners will be presenting "new announcements, trailers and first-looks" during Summer Game Fest, which takes place in Los Angeles next month. A live showcase on 7th June will be available to watch in-person or for free online, as usual, and it's here where fans will be able to see what's in store from a wide range of studios.

As well as the live show, Summer Game Fest: Play Days makes its return. This is a three-day, invite-only event for gaming media and influencers, allowing them to experience many of the titles featured during the live show. You'll no doubt see a whole host of previews in the days and weeks following the event — including from Push Square.
