@Flaming_Kaiser how do you know the same won't be true for this? The actual game could be dialed back by the time it comes out. It's a nice demo trailer but weven should all take that with a grain of salt these days...unless you want to ignore history. I don't see the down side of waiting for live play throughs anymore. What's waiting a week as compared to paying top price for a potential turd (any game , not this one in particular)
@get2sammyb they also said things about the other games on the past that were not true of the final product. Maybe that was at 4k or maybe it was upscale to 4k. Either way, it's not going to be native 4k in the final version. If you paid attention to what they've said about the ps4 pros then you'd know that. I can show you a 4k video that is representative of a game. It doesn't mean the final product will be. Stop falling for PR speak. If you're reporting on something it's better for you to press them on that when it doesn't sense. It will make you a better person to follow than anyone that just does lip service. If they say it's native 4k then did anyone ask how that could be if we have already been told that the pros system spec couldn't possibly do native 4k for a game like that? Wouldn't that be a better story? Are you in this to just write down what they say as fact or to actuality find out what it actually is? I have no problem if they've somehow managed true 4k but then tell me how that could be when the hardware doesn't support it. That's all. It's an obvious question.
@Octane Sony was behind killzone2 trailer, weren't they? How'd that turn out compared to the actual game?
No mam sky was promoted by Sony and don't tell me they didn't see what the game looked like before it went to market since they gave money to the devs.
As for this specific game, the reviewer stated it running at 4k. Again, if it's not 4k in the final product then should they be saying that? Shouldn't they get that straight before dating it from the developer themselves?
It's OK if you want to pretend that Sony wouldn't do something like that, but they did.
I'll wait for reviews from now on, thanks.
Also, why is the author stating thus is a true 4k game when Sony themselves have said the specs for true 4k gaming is beyond the ps4 pro hardware? Can we please stop spinning. It's only hurting the gaming community at this point. Sony doesn't seem to care if what they show us is actual representation of the game you'll buy or what their vision of it is. If it's a great game at launch then I'll buy it..but I want to see reviews first.
Did we learn nothing from NMS? The author readily admits what they saw could have been a tailored experience for the demo.
No more pre-orders from me Sony. I'll wait until reviews come out before purchasing. My trust in previews and Sony marketing is gone.
