Let me simplify it for you with your examples: if a burger costs $5 (everywhere) but one joint gives you fries with the exact same burger for $5 then you are gett fries FOR FREE. If a full tank costs $100 at every single gas station, but one station gives you a car wash after paying $100 for filling the tank THE CAR WASH WAS GIVEN TO YOU FOR FREE. You pay to play online, you get two free games per month. Not hard to understand.
