Sadly it was always bound to happen eventually. As someone who only ever plays single player games (god of war series, yakuza series, Arkham trilogy), even those that are mainly online specific (a la driveclub), I know from my ps3 games that as long as they’re still playable then I’ll be happy. Considering I still have a working mega drive (original), ps1, 2 ps2s and a ps3, not having ever invested in either a ps5 or a 4k tv I’ve not seen the games personally that have made me want to go current gen. Maybe if Sony tried focussing on bigger game storage considering the install sizes rather than downsizing I’d maybe consider it. Maybe this is the sign that the ps6 is incoming within the next year.
