@Kidfunkadelic83 Never too late, as a matter of fact I finally pulled the trigger after reading your reply. Got EA PGA Tour downloading now Thanks all!
I see both EA Sports PGA Tour and PGA Tour 2K23 deluxe editions are on sale. Is EA the better of the two? I’m down for a good golf game right now for some reason lol
@Tsushima Day 1 for me too, and I’m also debating which platform to get it on, PS5 or Switch? After putting in some time with each demo, I’m leaning towards the latter since it performs just fine and looks beautiful on the OLED screen.
I played through the demo and and really enjoyed it, very well executed puzzler. However, once I dove into the User Stages and Stage Creator, I fell in love. There is so much potential there! (see the user stage “Enhancement 2” for example)
@rachetmarvel I enjoy anime and JRPGs and whether the critics do as well is irrelevant, they’re perfectly right to point out this blatant and super uncomfortable presence in the two mediums. I agree this probably isn’t the best place for such a conversation, but not even acknowledging and instead dismissing the valid criticism as “elitist self-righteous hating” signals your complicity in the problem.
Just my two cents: As any reader here probably knows, it’s easy to find fault with Activision, and the COD franchise is similarly easy (even popular) to criticize. I stepped away from it years ago but during the 2020 lockdowns returned for Infinity Ward’s MW 2019 and Warzone and got hooked, hard.
I skipped whatever’s come out since but did something I never do: I preordered MWII for PS5. I opted for physical…yes I learned firsthand about the 70mb disc data controversy and wish I had gone digital instead.
Despite this, I gotta say overall MWII has not disappointed, in fact I’m kinda loving it. I’ve heavily edited the visual and control settings thanks to some really detailed and helpful YouTube videos from other players. I’m running in 120FPS mode and it is just amazing, really. The look, feel, and sound in this game are so satisfying. I’m genuinely looking forward to the future multiplayer updates and continued support.
@nathanSF We have two cats, one of which (unfortunately) does fit your description. The other however couldn’t be further from it: she’s remarkably in-tune and concerned with human emotion, literally intervenes to de-escalate our arguments, all but forces therapeutic cuddles when one is quietly stressed, and a fierce albeit diminutive guardian against would-be intruders.
My sample size is obviously small, and I love dogs too, but couldn’t help but recoil at both the arrogance and ignorance of your blanket statement. Hopefully I missed something and it’s just a joke (?)

@AfroMario Well put, I feel the same. It’s telling that China is developing games like this for the west while banning them at home.

@W0rl0ck Impressive! Just curious what game(s) you would nominate for GOTY then?
