@GoatWrench13 You’re spot on, and I’d further point out that the lock-in of an Epic-affiliated account seems like something both Sony and Epic would agree to. Sony is the platform holder, so they are getting the negative press, but it doesn’t seem likely that Epic was caught unaware by this, and if that is true, this is an issue for both Sony and Epic, and a solution could be brought forward by either party.
The account locking gives a bad look to Sony, and it allows the other console manufacturers to capitalize on that news, but this cannot be a purely Sony decision because the accounts are Epic’s, so somewhere in this mix, Epic agreed to Sony’s locking of accounts.
I think the way forward is to make a PR push to raise awareness of this policy, to unlock accounts that have been affected to date, and to maintain a separation between the PlayStation ecosystem and the ecosystems of other consoles.

Re: Sony Explains Its First, Best, Must Philosophy to PS4 Exclusives
I appreciate this type of promotion of a console over the bombast and generic hyperbole that comes from other platform holders.
We have proof of these concepts in the games we can go buy right now, and judging by E3, there are plenty more great titles to come.
Keep it up, Sony!

Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Lets You Pick Your Cover Hero
The option to have Kassandra on the cover is nice, and I had already chosen to play as her.
