I have like 2000-3000 hrs on ETS 2, maybe even more (you know, in my younger years I played cracked version for years. Now on steam, I have around 900 hrs). With ETS 1, maybe even 8000 hrs. Its my most played genre / game.
When they announced console version I was so excited to try this game on big TV screen. But Im worried about performance. My pc (RIP) was a beast. Like 2800 euros beast. Even this pc had some serious problems to handle it on highest settings due to poor antialiasing, so you have to scale it to like 300% on 4k to properly read dashboard. With this scale, my gpu rendered game around 12k resolution and utilization was around 80-90%.
I have PS5 Pro, but I doubt it can handle this game on ultra settings or high settings in current state of their engine. This needs proper DX12 implementation, multithread implementation, new features (like PSSR 2) etc. And because of SCS slow pace, I reaaaally doubt this game will be released any time soon (maybe 2028-2029).
F**k him. I cancelled Playstation Plus subscription. I will not support that d**khead. I would rather sell my account and ps5 pro than support this direction
