I don't understand why Sony have won this award myself. Sure the console has sold amazingly well, but this has more to do with M.S's awful launch as opposed to Sony doing anything special. Plus this has got to be one of the worst generations for AAA launches in a consoles first year ever. I can't think of one game on the PS4 worthy of note. Too many multi plats on no killer first party games? Seems like a strange award for them to win :s
