Gosh - I like PushSquare but this is such a poorly written article, taking real facts completely out of context to defend a baseless hypothesis. Sales numbers, by definition, cannot be 'dire' if a product is sold out. You can say the company has dire logistics, miscalculated demand, prioritised the wrong market etc but not that the numbers are dire whne they sold every unit they tried to. On top of that, there's a global pandemic disrupting everything from manufacturing, distribution, retailers and shoppers movement. And to indicate games are underselling without including the current most convinient channel (PS Store) is silly. Dear author, you had good points in your article and I appreciate some criticism to Sony is due, but you missed the point in my opinion.
