That's because most Playstation users buy video games for their console than Xbox users. Hardly anyone I know that plays on Xbox buys video games. They all rely on game pass which isn't a very good idea. First of all relying on game pass you're not always guaranteed to have that game, also developers don't make as much money off people playing on game pass as they would if someone bought their game, then you have the fact that game pass don't actually make Xbox money they actually lose money from game pass. Not with that last thing being said since game pass isn't profitable they have less money to put into their next game so slowly but surely the quality of games goes down and that's why Xbox has a lot of problems with their first party games lately. Meanwhile people on PlayStation usually support PlayStation first party titles and those developers end up getting more than enough money to thunder next game to be even bigger and better than the last one. Even me on my Xbox I think I've only purchased one game the rest of the stuff I play whatever is on game pass if I happen to get on my Xbox. I mostly play on my PlayStation though because I'd rather buy good games and support developers instead of a company banking all their chips on a subscription service.
