Dragon's Dogma 2 players have had a damn good run over the last few months, and Capcom doesn't appear to be ceasing support for its open world RPG anytime soon.

Having released the excellent Dark Arisen expansion in October — and reviving the title's popularity in the process — the developer is starting to roll out surprise collaborations.

Available in the game right now, a Delicious in Dungeon (also known as Dungeon Meshi) crossover adds two new outfits based on the comedic (and deceptively dark) manga and anime property.

You've got until the 29th January 2027 to redeem said costumes, which are based on main characters Laios and Marcille. They look great, and they come with adventuring backpacks!

You can find the sets in your storage upon loading up your save.

The update itself weighs in at 7.8GB, and also features a whole bunch of minor bug fixes. The official patch notes are available on the Dragon's Dogma 2 website.

Of course, this sudden collaboration begs the question: what's next? It'd be a bit weird for Capcom to wheel out a single crossover and then never speak of Dragon's Dogma 2 again — and so the smart money's on there being additional updates in the future.

Needless to say, we need that Berserk collab. For those who may not know, the first Dragon's Dogma, all the way back on PS3, had awesome armour sets from the dark fantasy manga — but re-releases removed them.

It's no secret that Dragon's Dogma as a whole was greatly influenced by the late Kentaro Miura's work, and so reviving the crossover would be amazing to see.
