A remastered Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is apparently in the works.

This could be a huge deal, because the beloved RPG has been stuck on PC since its original launch all the way back in 2004. Assuming this remaster is real, there's a chance it could finally end up on consoles.

So where does this rumour come from? Well, to be totally honest, it's a pretty shaky source. It all began on Reddit, where a fan of rock band Genitorturers claimed that the group had straight up mentioned a Bloodlines "remake" during a gig.

For context, Genitorturers featured on Bloodlines' soundtrack.

A day after that post, a supposedly in-the-know leaker — Daimler_KKnD, also on Reddit — spilled the beans. They say that a Bloodlines revival is happening, but it's a remaster, not a remake.

Beyond that, there are no real details to go on — but I wouldn't be shocked to see other so-called insiders pipe up about this project in the near future.

I suppose the real surprise here is that it's taken this long for Bloodlines to make a comeback. The timing does feel somewhat logical, given the brand's attempted resurgence via Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 (which was unfortunately panned by both critics and players alike).

Would you play a remastered Bloodlines on PS5? Do you think this is actually happening? Drain someone dry in the comments section below.
