GTA Online’s next major update sounds like a doozy for art lovers, and it’s dropping as early as next week, 14th July, on PS5 and PS4 – with free upgrades available now on next-gen consoles.

The Kortz Center Heist will be playable in both single player and co-op, and will require you to own a Mansion, upgradeable with the new Art Studio extension.

Existing Mansion owners will get a GTA$1m discount on the Art Studio, while there’ll be a further GTA$500k up for grabs for anyone who logs in through 13th July.

At your Art Studio, you’ll be able to hire a counterfeiter, who’ll immediately set to work making fakes of Los Santos’ masterpieces.

You’ll need to scout out the Kortz Center, set your artist-in-residence to work, and then plot a heist in which you steal the real pieces.

Once robbed, you’ll be able to sell the pieces on and even display them in your Mansion. There’ll be new pieces each week to steal.

Of course, the update will also come with various other additions, like new vehicles compatible with Hao’s Special Works.
