Yare Yare Daze! More JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Coming to PS5 1

Looks like we can expect more JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure on PS5, as the Brazilian ratings board has outed a new version of Eyes of Heaven, the PS4 exclusive arena fighter from 2016.

Developed by CyberConnect 2, it sounds like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven R will be targeting all platforms this time, so I imagine it largely exists to reach a wider audience.

But if you’ll remember, publisher Bandai Namco also released JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R a few years ago, expanding on the PS3 fan favourite fighter with new content and an expanded Season Pass.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is big in the manga and anime world, of course, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see this get announced at any of the upcoming summer gaming events – especially given the recent popularity of Steel Ball Run.

My colleague Rob reviewed Eyes of Heaven when it released in 2016, but wasn’t that impressed with it. He gave it a 5/10, describing its gameplay as “shoddy”.

Let’s hope this new version cleans things up a bit, eh? (Also, can we get a port of Capcom’s PS1 fighting game on modern consoles as well?)
