KSI Goals

The talk of the town for the younger generation right now is about how KSI has left YouTube group the Sidemen after 13 years, but he's not exactly done it in the most tasteful way.

Initially communicated as a way to spend more time with his family and partner, KSI has since been filmed performing some kind of 67 meme in a Tesco supermarket with a bunch of lookalikes. Interview clips also suggest he's after more views, as he believes he can be the UK's own Mr Beast.

The Internet has now turned on KSI, with fans thinking he values those views and the money that comes with them over 13 years of friendship he's had with the other six members of the Sidemen. If you've no idea what I'm talking about, just ask your kids about him!

Anyway, in the aftermath of his departure, the first official thing KSI is doing is appearing as an "Originals" character in the newly released free-to-play football game GOALS. It's out now on PS5 for free, described as "a fast, responsive football game built for pure skill, real competition, and a global community".

Here it is in action with a track that sounds a lot like that ridiculed Arsenal one:

KSI will appear as an "Original" character in the game, which are "visually authentic to their real selves, but evolving as they progress, meaning no two Originals will ever be the same. Influencer, entrepreneur and football fanatic KSI is the first Original and will be available at launch." GOALS is selling a premium currency, so I assume you probably have to buy KSI.
