It's not out for another couple of weeks, but the launch trailer for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has arrived.
The video is a mixture of gameplay and shots from cutscenes, resulting in a trailer that's packed with references to the character's history:
Perhaps the most obvious one is the use of Seal's Kiss from a Rose, which was included in the end credits for Batman Forever.

It's a good choice as it fits the silly tone of the game, playing over spoofs of famous Batman scenes and snippets of combat and traversal.
As is now customary, there's an Akira slide thrown in for good measure as well.
We recently went hands on with Legacy of the Dark Knight and came away pretty excited. It seems to be hitting all the right notes, both for LEGO game fans and Batman fans. It launches on 22nd May 2026.
