Absolum, the fantastic side-scrolling beat-'em-up that launched on PS5 and PS4 last year, has now been updated with full cross-play functionality across all platforms.
That's PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam).
Absolum supports both local and online co-op for up to two players, and although you can play through the whole thing alone, teaming up with a pal really allows the gameplay to shine. You can pull off some crazy two-person combos with a bit of practice.
Anyway, this update will hopefully let a lot more people in on the action. Absolum was one of our favourite 'smaller' releases of 2025, and the post-launch improvements have been impressive.
Indeed, back in February, developer Guard Crush Games dropped patch 1.1, which added a whole new game mode and much more. We'd highly recommend checking this one out if you haven't already.
