If you can believe it, No Rest for the Wicked has now been in early access for two whole years on PC, but it's been a long time since its once-promised console release was officially acknowledged.
The grimy action RPG, which is from developer Moon Studios of Ori and the Blind Forest fame, has been racking up positive feedback since its initial reveal in 2023. It then hit early access in April 2024, and a number of major updates have improved it ever since.
Anyway, the title's now sold 1.7 million copies despite its early access transparency, as per a second anniversary message from Moon Studios.

"1.7 million copies sold, and counting. You’ve supported us, challenged us, and pushed us to do better. That’s exactly how we like it," the company writes.
It continues: "We’re hard at work toward 1.0. And console players, we haven’t forgotten you."
So, if you've been waiting on No Rest for the Wicked coming to PS5, it's going to be a case of looking out for its big 1.0 launch. Moon Studios is yet to give us a time frame on that, but it surely can't be too far away at this point.
