With only Bandai Namco and Disney putting any real third-party support behind Sony’s PS Plus Premium subscription, it’s frustrating that of the two, it’s just the House of Mouse commissioning Trophies for its titles.
But the PS2 version of WALL-E has released today, with a Platinum Trophy in tow.
There are 21 gongs in total to collect, mostly pertaining to progress through the main campaign and minigames.
You’ll need to unlock all in-game cheats, collect all artifacts, and destroy all BnL crates, so don’t expect a walk in the park.

But it’s not going to take you too long to get everything done: How Long to Beat pegs a completionist run at around eight hours, so don’t expect to be playing too much longer for the Platinum – especially if you refer to a guide.
Some of these old licensed THQ titles were pretty fun, and we remember having a perfectly fine time with WALL-E, although we played it on the PSP.
Clearly there’s much, much better games Sony could be adding to this service, but we’ll take this throwaway tie-in knowing Tekken Dark Resurrection and Time Crisis are on the way.
