Sony Is Still Patching Trophies into Retro PS Plus Premium Games 1

There’s hope for the likes of SoulCalibur 3 yet, as Sony is continuing to update retro games added to its PS Plus Premium subscription with Trophies.

Thrillville: Off the Rails – the 2007 PSP sequel to Frontier’s rollercoaster tycoon title – is the latest of the organisation’s emulation efforts to unexpectedly add gongs, which quietly popped up on PSN’s servers last week.

In order to maximise support for the service, the platform holder has generally allowed publishers to eschew Trophies in any emulated re-releases it decides to bring to the PS Store.

But in many cases, dev Implicit Conversions has returned to old releases in order to patch them in. The original game in the series, Thrillville, was already updated with Trophies on PS5 and PS4 last year – but now it’s the turn of its successor.

Earning the Platinum shouldn’t take too long to be fair: you just need to unlock all of the levels, interact with the various systems in the game – like hiring 100 staff or reaching a park value of $50,000 or more – and you should be good to go.

This is a fun game to be fair, so if you do have PS Plus Premium and you want something a little different to pass the time with, we’d recommend giving this a go and working towards the newly added Platinum along the way.
