The outrageously talented Russian illustrator Ilya Kushinov will provide character designs for a new Compile Heart “school RPG”, with production led by Persona co-creator Kouji Okada.
The development team includes a group of ex-Atlus alumni, including scenario designer Tadashi Satomi and sound composer Tsukasa Masuko.
Details are scarce right now, but Okada – who’s now 61-years-old, and presumably nearing retirement – says he wants this to be his “final message to the next generation”, as translated by Gematsu.
A full reveal is due on 29th January, where we’d expect the game to be announced for the PS5, among other platforms.
