Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have announced a release date for Cult of the Lamb's upcoming expansion pack, Woolhaven.

The paid DLC will be available on PS5 and PS4 from 22nd January, 2026, meaning it's just over a month away.

It seems like it's a very robust expansion, too. "Almost doubling" the base game, according to the devs, introducing a whole new location — Woolhaven, the ancestral home of the lambs.

With the winter god awakened, new mechanics come to cult management — you have to keep your followers warm in addition to all their other needs. Meanwhile, the Woolhaven expansion adds two new dungeons for you to explore, with new enemies and bosses to defeat.

Going through the dungeons, you'll return lost souls to Woolhaven and gradually return it to life and restore it to its former glory.

Ranching is another new mechanic, as is a hide-and-seek game you can play in your settlement and a forge where you can discover legendary weapons.

During the winter, crops won't grow, which is where ranching comes in; you'll have to look after your animals, who provide various resources, and they can always be slaughtered for meat if needed.

For fans of Cult of the Lamb, this looks like an excellent DLC; there seems to be a lot of new things to see and do.
