The next two playable characters coming to Marvel Rivals appear to have been teased in the game's latest patch notes.
The popular free-to-play shooter is getting its new update tomorrow, 6th November 2025, and while the patch's contents will be of interest to dedicated players, it's the image accompanying the post that has everyone's attention.
The above X post crops out the two new faces, thought to be X-Men heroes Rogue and Gambit.

Rogue and Gambit have been rumoured to be coming to Marvel Rivals as part of the game's upcoming Season 5, which is set to kick off from 14th November — just over a week from this new patch going live.
Nothing else is known about how the two characters will play within the game, but it seems we'll learn more about them soon.

I’m assuming Rogue will be a tank and Gambit a DPS. We probably need more healers though.
@nessisonett I could see Rogue be a healer tbh let along a buff supporter, gambit is DPS for sure.
@CDCYPER00 I guess they could go down the Moira route and have her absorb health but that could work as a tank or healer. She’s strong and a bit of a beast in the comics so it would be nice to see her show that here rather than the weird Kitty Pryde clone we got in the movies.
@nessisonett oh she’s definitely a powerful woman for sure, we’ll see how she plays. As much as I love her becoming a healer, a tank sure makes much more sense.
