Valheim will finally make its way to PlayStation next year, publisher Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Iron Gate have confirmed.
Valheim has been available on PC for close to five years, and, as you'd expect, it's come a long way since the days of its early access release. It made the jump to Xbox in 2023, but a PS5 port was never really hinted at — much to the disappointment of many a PlayStation player.
Indeed, Valheim is a very highly rated survival RPG. You may recall it being an especially big deal around its original launch, and it's managed to maintain a healthy community over the years.

As its name suggests, the game's based around Norse culture and mythology, and you can play it with up to ten other players across procedurally generated worlds.

Good to hear we are getting the best version possible sometimes the wait is better then being first.
Not for me but the game did exceptionally well on PC for a game made by a very very small team. Had a lot of friends who played it and loved the theme and style of the game. Its the sort of success story we need to see more of in the industry.
This is good news, I absolutely love this game, it’s one of my go to’s that’s always great when I come back to it.
I'm afraid of how expensive this game will cost in Brazil... probably around 150 reais, since Sony doesn't care about regional pricing
