Konami's well-received remake Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launched about a month ago on PS5, and it'll soon be expanded upon with a dedicated multiplayer mode, Fox Hunt.
The online multiplayer feature was announced prior to the game's launch, but it was revealed recently that it would be coming in a post-release update.
Now, we know exactly when Fox Hunt arrives: 30th October, 2025.
The announcement came during Tokyo Game Show, where the publisher also shared new footage of the mode:
Fox Hunt is essentially a 12-player game of hide and seek that leans into the game's stealth and camouflage systems.

Players are divided into teams of two and compete to fulfil objectives, aiming to complete them without being spotted and eliminated by other teams.
Konami shared the following image, revealing when the mode will become available in each region:

If it's even 30% the fun of MGO then I will be happy with that (considering it's free), but man I really miss the good old days playing MGO lobbies on MGS4.
How about they fix performance on PS5 pro first
@Scarface82G1 They need to fix performance on everything it's really below par on every system!
@Oram77
MGO in MGS4 was a lot of fun and very, very broken.
@Ricky-Spanish I'm betting they won't it's virtuos the same developer that have left oblivion remaster in a mess
As soon as they fix the Pro performance issues, I’ll grab the game.
