Ken has been added to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a shadow drop, which means you can take control of the Street Fighter now in SNK’s latest and greatest.
Of course, this includes his arcade mode, which features his individual storyline. And it’s this which has fans pondering whether a hypothetical SNK vs Capcom is being teased.
While we won’t spoil the whole thing, in his concluding cutscene, Ken chats with Terry Bogard about a “tussle of two cities” involving Metro City and South Town.

“Makes you wonder, huh?” Ken exclaims.
“For real! Just imagine: Tizoc and Zangief in a clash of the titans,” Terry retorts. “Taekwondo thrill seekers Dong Hwan and Juri goin’ at it! Rock and Luke in a battle of new blood!”
It’s far from a confirmation of anything, and probably just fun prophesising for the sake of a closing cutscene, but it’s a tantalising proposition, isn’t it?
Obviously there have been three main crossovers between these fighting game stalwarts over the years – more if you include the Neo Geo Pocket games – with Capcom making two critically acclaimed titles and SNK one.
SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos is generally considered inferior to the Capcom efforts, and while we agree, we still like SNK’s attempt for what it is. It’d be interesting to see the Japanese company take another stab at the concept, although we suspect there’d be a lot more interest in this kind of project if Capcom took the lead.
