While all eyes will be on EVO next week for updates and gameplay on the upcoming Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, there’s still a tremendous amount of love for the Marvel vs Capcom franchise.
And in order to celebrate that, Udon Entertainment is dropping an expanded hardcover art book in November to commemorate the legendary fighting game franchise, announced at Comic Con this weekend.
The Ultimate Complete Works includes over 140 more pages than its predecessors, spanning all games from X-Men vs Street Fighter through to Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. Yes, we know the latter was a big disappointment, but it’s included for the sake of completeness.

“Marvel vs Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works collects the spectacular artwork behind this legendary fighting game franchise,” the blurb reads. “Inside you’ll find character designs, game covers, promotional art, rare sketches, tribute illustrations, and more!”
An Udon Store exclusive Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order now, featuring alternative cover art, six collectible metal art cards, and six enamel pins. Pre-orders cost £92/$120, so it’s pricey, but this looks like a supremely high-quality package.
