Polyphony Digital continues its impressive monthly support of PS5, PS4 racer Gran Turismo 7 with the latest July 2025 update, which brings the game up to version 1.61. Available within the next 24 hours, the patch adds three new cars, three more events, and a GT Sophy AI update.
Here are the three new cars you can buy from Brand Central:
'22 Honda N-ONE RS
'05 NISMO R34 GT-R Z-tune
'22 Nissan Qashqai Tekna 190 2wd e-Power
Elsewhere, you could look forward to three more events under the World Circuits tab, the ability to race the GT Sophy AI on the High Speed Ring track, and take some pictures in the Inyo National Forest in the USA.

I appreciate that they add things like the Qashqai cause it’s a car that people drive. They just need the events to actually make use of them.
Bloody qashqui I hate those things! but they are incredibly popular (with people with no interest in cars) 😙. Love the skyline though! An absolute classic Z-tune 👍. Love this game and really got back into sport mode lately. 10/10

Can't complain about the constant content updates but it'd be really nice for some new tracks to be added.

I wished they’d rip out the clueless basic AI and use Sophy through out. Just did the SPA 24 hour race and got shunted off 3 time. Grrrr! Seriously though, 800 hours in offline mode only, not to mention the fantastic VR support
I like that PD put in weird non-race types of cars, I’d just like the ratio adjusted a little towards an extra actual sports car here and there. Maybe another GT? But if they are putting in “boring cars”, maybe give the cars with lifting back hatches (SUVs I mean) a break for a shooting break (wagon)? I like weird cars I just don’t want to be slinging top heavy mom utes around the track as much. Personally I’d love to drive my 10th gen Accord but I realize that’s about as interesting as the 4-5 utility vehicles we’ve gotten recently. But we have gotten those so…
