Konami will host a lengthy Suikoden-related livestream next week, on the 5th August.
It's an incredibly early one for those of you in the US, starting at 4am PT / 7am ET. That's 12pm BST, and 1pm CEST here in Europe.
The show will run for a colossal 1 hour and 30 minutes, suggesting that the publisher's got a lot of stuff planned.
Of course, we're all wondering whether this points towards new announcements. Konami has made it clear that it wants to push the legendary franchise back into a favourable position — and it kickstarted those plans with Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster, which launched back in March.

Konami's also hinted that more remasters could be on the cards — depending on the success of Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster — and so we're already seeing lots of speculation surrounding a revival of Suikoden 3 and Suikoden 4, both of which originally released on the PS2.
But let's not get carried away. This incoming broadcast may be long, but we need to remember that Konami's currently got a mobile game, Suikoden Star Leap, in the works, and it's due to release "soon". There's no doubt we'll be seeing some of that during this livestream.
