The uber-good looking Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will run at a rapid 60fps on PS5, after defaulting to 30fps on Xbox Series X|S a year ago.
This is all part of Ninja Theory’s revamped Enhanced edition, which will debut on Sony’s console for $49.99 on 12th August. An extended Deluxe Edition will include a remastered version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, which will also be available as a free upgrade for existing owners of the game.
The Enhanced edition comes with some crucial gameplay improvements, including the aforementioned frame rate increase.

Here’s what Ninja Theory’s Will Potter said on Xbox Wire:
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is a cinematic experience of immersion where we push real-time visuals to deliver rich, believable environments and characters to sink you deep into Senua’s story. Now, with Performance Mode, we’re excited to give you the option to experience gameplay at 60fps. The result is smoother gameplay, especially noticeable during combat and fast-moving moments of the game.
The Enhanced edition will also include some other improvements, including the Dark Rot mechanic from the original game, which basically limits the amount of lives you can use before your run is ended permanently.
For the virtual photographers among you, you’ll also find an expansion of the photo mode feature.

And there’ll be a Developer Commentary mode, with over four hours of “insightful commentary, exploring the craft and creative decisions that went into making the game”.
Is all of this enough to convince you to revisit Senua’s miserable and macabre world? Experience one of the best looking games ever at 60fps in the comments section below.
