With the new location of Rinascita loosely inspired by Italy and Greece, we suppose it was only a matter of time before Wuthering Waves got gladiatorial.

And with the expansion of the main story quest, along with the addition of the new Septimont location, that’s exactly what’s in store. New Resonators, including Cartethyia and Lupa, will headline both banner halves this time, along with their corresponding weapons.

There’ll also be new outfits for existing Resonators Changli and Carlotta, including a summer-inspired swimsuit for the latter which we suspect is about to sell extremely well.

In addition to new Echoes and Phantom Echoes, you’ll also find a bunch of new in-game Events, including one tactical trading card-style minigame. That looks like a lot of fun.

For those of you who are worried about your rapidly depleting pulls, everyone who plays during the duration of the update will get 10 Radiant Tide totally free, and you’ll be able to claim a further five through the usual login incentives.

There’s a lot to take up your time here, then. The update will launch on 12th June, just a little over a week after Zenless Zone Zero’s epic v2.0 update. How will you be dividing your gacha play time this month?
