Zenless Zone Zero's Next Monstrous Update Hands Out Huge Rewards, Here's the New Redemption Code 1

Zenless Zone Zero’s colossal anniversary update will release on 6th June, and will bring with it a frightening array of new content. But before we delve into the dozens of new details, you may want to grab the latest redemption code before it expires on 25th May:

Okay, where to even begin with this one? Perhaps we’ll start with the free rewards, because they are generous beyond belief: you’re getting 30 (thirty!) free pulls, as well as a free S-Rank character and W-Engine from the permanent banner. That’s an amazing offering!

The story will take Phaethon to a new district named the Waifei Peninsula, which comes with new minigames, retailers, and activities. Completing the plot will also see the Proxy unlock a fresh outfit for free, inspired by a more traditional Chinese style.

There’ll be an entirely new management minigame centred around the Suibian Temple, where you’ll need to send Bangboos out on dispatch missions in order to earn resources to upgrade your sacred shrine’s facilities. We absolutely adore passive tycoon-style gameplay like this, so we can’t wait to get started.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a proper update without new characters.

Yixuan, who’s featured prominently in the story recently, will headline this update, as the first Rupture specialty S-Rank. She’s able to blitz through enemies’ defences using Sheer Force, and has two different types of Ultimate to offer the most varied combat experience yet.

She’ll be flanked by Ju Fufu, an S-Rank Stun agent who can raise the CRIT DMG of the entire team through her Chain Attack. That sounds useful!

Oh, and for those of you looking for a new A-Rank to test out, kung-fu panda Pan Yinhu will help to stodge up your defence.

We should also add that Ellen, one of the game’s most popular characters, is getting an update. If you already own her, then you don’t need to worry: you’ll get access to all of her upgrades, which include new moves and buffs, for free. That’s one way to prevent power creep, huh?

Elsewhere, in addition to the obligatory new Bangboo, Astra Yao and Casesar will both be getting re-runs during this update, so you’ll have no shortage of options to spend your free pulls on. We should also mention that top-up bonuses are getting reset in this update, so if you want to open up your wallet, you’ll be able to get a little more bang(boo) for your buck.

That’s not all, though! New events during this update will see you taking a trip to Lumina Square’s cinema, where you’ll be able to kickback with some favourite movies alongside friends. Meanwhile, there’ll also be a mech piloting minigame, as well as updates to evergreen modes like Hollow Zero.

And on the gameplay front, HoYoverse is making a whole slew of optimisations, including the addition of a 3D map and further improvements to the world navigation menus. Don’t worry if you’re new to the release either, as you’ll be able to jump directly to the Season 2 storyline after completing the first couple of chapters if you choose.

Phew! This is an absolutely enormous update, and we’ve barely even scratched the surface of it really. Check out the 70-minute (!!!) livestream embedded above if you want the full breakdown – it really is impressive just how much content has been crammed into this.
