Each year, publisher Devolver Digital puts on its very own presentation amid the busy summer season of video game showcases, and 2025 is to be no different.

However, Devolver Directs are rarely predictable, and in what seems like a bold move, this year's event will focus on one game.

This year's presentation is titled BALL x PIT: The Kenny Sun Story, apparently shining a spotlight on a single game ā€” BALL x PIT ā€” made by solo developer Kenny Sun.

It appears that Devolver will be publishing this game and is making its summer presentation all about it.

There's reason to be somewhat sceptical about this approach; Devolver has a history of shenanigans when it comes to these things.

For example, last year's Devolver Direct was framed as a 15th anniversary celebration for Volvy, the publisher's mascot character that does not in fact have a 15-year history.

Whatever the presentation truly turns out to be, you can tune in on 6th June, 2025 at the following times:

  • UK/Ire: 1am BST
  • Europe: 2am CEST / 3am EEST

Summer Game Fest itself kicks off a few hours earlier, with Day of the Devs following, and now, Devolver's show airs straight after. Friday's gonna be busy.
