In case you forgot, developer Evil Empire — behind much of Dead Cells' post-launch development — has been beavering away at an all-new entry in the Prince of Persia series.
It's called The Rogue Prince of Persia, and as the name implies, it's a roguelite action platformer.
The game has been in an early access period exclusively on PC for over a year now, but that's about to change as it will finally have its 1.0 launch this August.
That's pertinent for console players, because typically that means console ports will arrive at or near that time.
In an update on the game's Steam page, Evil Empire says that "information about the actual release date and other stuff like consoles will be coming soon", so it sounds like the team is really gearing up.
No console platforms have been confirmed as yet, but hopefully the game makes the jump to PS5/PS4, as it looks really strong in the new trailer (above).
Are you excited for the full launch of The Rogue Prince of Persia? Do you hope to see it on PlayStation soon? Tell us in the comments section below.

I liked The Lost Crown. Excited about this one too. It's good to see it wasn't years of EA period and it's almost here.
Finally! I've been waiting for this one! It looks awesome.
Oh yeah I forgot about this one. Enjoyed The Lost Crown, nice to see the series isn’t dead again at least.
This looks great! Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown was so awesome that they didn’t hesitate to follow it up! Hopefully more people flock to this one than they did Lost Crown.
Think I prefer the art direction of Lost Crown but that game was so good I will be all over this day one! 🤞
