Sony's Legend of Zelda Movie Releasing a Little Later to Make It 'As Good As It Can Be'

The casting for this movie is going to be very interesting to see who they cast for link and Zelda

Ocarina of time is the first game I ever remember playing religiously, completing it on my n64 is like a core memory. Praying they do this series justice with the adaptation

Hopefully the rumour of Hunter Schafer for Zelda turns out true as she's the spitting image of Zelda and is a good actress.

Might just be me but if I'm making what I hope to be a big successful movie of the summer blockbuster variety I'd much rather have it come out in May instead of March.

Also possibly related, 3 weeks ago Avengers Secret Wars got moved from May 7, 2027 to Dec 17, 2027.

@rjejr Oh i know that post will trigger some certain precious folk but i honestly want her as Zelda and have done ever since the film was announced.

Is it just me, or is there anyone else who has no desire to watch video game movies? There are so many games I love that have movies that I have absolutely zero interest in watching. The few that I have seen were very disappointing for the most part.

I don't see why they need to look like the characters either. Link himself should be a customisable character, since he's such a blank slate in most games, who you can change the hair and skin colour of. Nintendo needs more black characters. Instead we're going to get the usual white cast, so I don't see what you're upset about. Tom Holland probably as Link 😴
