There’s been a distinct lack of Grasshopper Manufacture over the past few years, but thank goodness rockstar director Suda51 and his team has returned.
Romeo Is a Dead Man is being described as an uber-violent sci-fi escapade, filled with gory action, space time continuums, and a whole slew of other zany ideas.
Combat is a blend between third-person shooting and character action, and according to community manager James Mountain on the PS Blog, this is the most gory effort yet from the veteran studio.
He explained: “Romeo swaps between guns and swords, using his enemies’ own power against them to absolutely annihilate the evil hordes in this peak example of full-on bloody action, featuring ridiculously clever level design in which you’ll be jumping back and forth between the real-world subspace, and white-hot battles cathartic enough to collapse the universe itself!”
It looks and sounds like something really special, with a release date slated for 2026.

Get ready for wild s....i hope they a travis cameo xD
It felt like a 6/10 just from the trailer but let's see.
When the world needed him most, Suda51 returns. Even though he never technically left... But anyway, I will never get enough of Suda/Grasshopper jank.
The moment the first cartoony scene where the guy got mauled by a monster and his head got injected with some stuff, i knew it's a Suda game lol.
I put this game on my wishlist for sure 😍
Had me at Grasshopper Manufacture.
This was the best announcement of the show.
Did you guys see all the blood and violence? Hell yeah, so much blood!
Looked really cool, I knew it was Suda once the blood started gushing everywhere.
