Guilty Gear Strive has a new challenger, and it’s Unika from the game’s Dual Rulers anime spin-off. We’re in true cross-media territory here, folks.

The newcomer, available in-game right now, is launching alongside two new stages and an update which adds crucial frame data information to the training mode. Obviously, this is more of a hardcore feature, but will come as a welcome addition for pro players.

The patch also makes some minor balance changes and fixes a couple of small bugs. You can find the full list of improvements on developer Arc System Works’ website.

As for Unika, she can be purchased individually or obtained as part of the title’s fourth Season Pass. Interestingly, she’ll be followed by Lucy from anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners, so that’s something to look forward to later this summer.
